Struggling with Milight

Post by BarryT »

Hi all,

i have 4 (and more in the future) rgb strips, and 2 cw/ww bulbs of milight..
I have added these 2 with one wifi box (v4) to domoticz.
but now and then the bulb or the rgb doesnt seems to respond.
in the app of milight they are working perfect.

Can this be my problem?
I use all lights with one ip box.. does i need to have two wifi boxes, 1 for rgb/rgbww and 1 for white, or this correct?
the first one is mode set to white, second one to rgb.
they are working, but now and then the bulb does not going on or the rgb group doesnt want to go to the color i want..

My v4 wifi box also isn't always responsive. I replaced it by v6, wich solved this.

Okay... Then i hope it will solve my troubles.
I also recieved a NRF24L01+ chip for the RFLink, will this working better then the wifi box of the MiLight itself?

Anyway, i dont have the time atm to do the thing now on the rflink, so i will do that later on.

Is it the correct way to add 2 hardware for one milight wifi box?
