Domoticz

Time to share and maybe inspire what to do with a broken Motorola AccessPoint.
Removed the orginal hardware
Slightly adjusted the inside with a dremel tool.
Case provides more than enough natural cooling.

Items in the build:

- Cubietruck Board with SSD beneath
- RazBerry ZWAVE V2
- RFLINK (Arduino Mega) with custom antenna
- Mysensors Gateway
- Running Domoticz

Best of all, WAF is high (at least in my case.) Can hang it in the living room as long as no leds are blinking....

I had no specific reason for the zwave other than i had laying around one for a while used on a RPI.

But, if i had the choice:

For advantages, the stick can be carried to a device to include, but personally i managed to include my zwave devices from the front garden to the back garden without any problem using zwave controller on a fixed place in my home. And i believe (not sure) that the razberry zwave is more mature in terms of supporting open zwave. Last, the latest version of the stick has an annoying flashing led that i find disturbing.

A big thanks to Systemlord. I just made mine:

Just a Rpi3, Milight controller, Rfxcom and a mysensors gateway. All fixed with some glue:

More than enough room in the case.
