dual switches visible as single switch and not working fine

Post by edwin01 »

Hi,

I have installed Domoticz on my Synology NAS with jadahl.com. I have two devices:
1x TZ36D, Z-WAVE Dual Wall Switch.
1x Philiotech PAN04 dual relay module.

Both devices are visible as switch with just one switch/releay. Also, when i click the relay switch sometimes it switches both relay on/off but mostly the device goes into failure.

Am I doing something wrong or are the devices not supported with Domoticz? Hope someone can help.

Thanks.
Edwin

for the philio (maybe the other 2) you should see 3 switches in the devices table, one of the switches is an 'All' on/off

Hi. I would expect that indeed. But there is only one switch visible.

Make sure you check for the PAN04 that you have 3 connections with the Z-Wave controller:
Go to Setup -> Hardware -> Blue Setup button from your controller -> Node Management -> Groeps & Network:
Add 1 (=controller) to group 1 and group 2 and group 3.

TZ36ZD I don't know, could a similar connection problem (read the TZ36ZD manual)
But I don't see a TZ36ZD.xml file in the Config/wenzhou directory.
So OpenZwave support is doubtful. It needs to act as a secondary controller (like a remote control).

If you need help from the community, then make pictures of the current situation (hardware screen, Groeps & Network)

Edwin,
every node should have an ID and Type (pic: nodes.jpg)
At least the Controller and the PAN04.
The TZ36ZD is recognized as TZ56 and has a .xml file (and should be recognized also)

So something went wrong.
As result of that, you don't see any possibility to connect the controller (in Groups.jpeg)

ID's has to be solved first.

Disable your Z-Wave controller
Remove the cache file: zwfg_0x.......xml in the Config directory
Enable your Z-Wave controller.
Check if you get the correct ID's (can be found in the manufacturer_specific.xml)
Success
