Install from dev-domoticz

Hello

I'm replacing a laptop/ubuntu/domoticz with a Raspberry.
I need a minor tweak in domoticz for it to work for me (viewtopic.php?f=56&t=10755&p=76987#p76987) so I complied the program in dev-domoticz. This works fine and I can start domoticz manually with sudo ./domoticz but it does not start at boot.

I want to run domoticz from the /domoticz directory, so I made a copy of /dev-domoticz
This does not work, sudo ./domoticz gives "command not found"

/domoticz and /dev-domoticz are the same size and have the same access rights

What is the correct or recommended way to install a locally compiled version (and make it run at boot)

I am not a star with Linux.
