When i make an event in domoticz to send out a message if the front door is open it wont work

Build it like this
The event is active and saved.

When i choose to remove the part after and it wil work ans send a message.

Need some help to get it working.

Try to use email function and see what happens

And why do you think e-mail is not the solution for this problem? it is strange that the options after the "and" arguments en before the send arguments seems not to work good.

setting up the blocks like this and on the phone i will recive the message.

That is the same as
the only thing is that the block is set as external inputs.

And the results are the same

Just a thought, is it worth trying "on" instead of "open" for the door status?

Tried that option already.

Looking at the status of the device ( a sensative strip ) it is working with open and close
