Changes in Fibaro motion sensor zwave+ version

Post by manutremo »

Hi,

Whilw trying to add an association to my fibaro FGMS-001 sensor to connect it to a light switch, I found out that the configuration in the last version of domotics is the one required for version 2.x of the device (non+). The zw+ version (fw v3.2) has some changes which are not included into the present config file fgms.xml. My device shows ID 0x1001 and type 0x0801.

In particular, the non+ version had 3 association groups:
1 - Basic Report
2 - Tamper Alarm
3 - Lifeline

while in the zw+ version it has 5 association groups

1st association group – “Lifeline"
2nd association group – “Motion”
3rd association group – “Tamper”
4th association group – “Motion BC”
5th association group – “Tamper BC”

In addition, the zw+ contains additional parameters:

18. Associations in Z-Wave network Security Mode
25. Tamper - alarm cancellation
28. Tamper - broadcast mode (was parameter 26 in former version)
29. Tamper - backward compatible broadcast mode

Would it be possible to update the config file for this version?

I could do it someone can point me to some doc explaining how the config files are built.

Thanks!

I finally decided to give it a try and managed to update the existing config file to include the changes in the new version.
