Mqtt from lua script

Hi!

How do we send mqtt commands from a lua script?

I'm currently controlling my devices using openurl http commands but have heard that mqtt is faster in domoticz?

Also, I use virtual devices with http commands in the on off fields to control my switches. How would I put mqtt commands instead?

Many thanks,, the wiki doesn't cover this and searching the forums only shows outdated info when mqtt was first being added to domoticz a couple of years ago ..

Is this not possible then? No mqtt for virtual devices?
