Offline after wrong password attempts

I installed Domoticz on a Raspberry Pi 3. I activated SSL on port 8443 and made a port forwarding on my router.
All worked fine, until yesterday.
For an unknown reason, Domoticz reported me a wrong password during a login attempt. I tried three times and then Domoticz routed me automatically to another website (I made the error not writing it down the address) reporting something about locking access. Going back to Domoticz, it reports always "Domoticz Offline" now.

I tried to do some research on the internet, but cannot find something that helps me immediately. I found out about "fail2ban" (automated banning of IP addresses with multiple failed logins). I didn't install this on the Raspberry (or perhaps it is by default, don't know yet), but anyway, when I use the HTTP on port 8080, I can still login. This makes me think that the IP address is not blocked. Of course, I want to avoid to open my router for the unprotected HTTP port and am looking for a solution for the HTTPS.

I also installed the Android App of Domoticz on my phone (also using the HTTPS). If I launch the App, it cannot connect to the Domoticz server and I get "Connection refused" (ECONNREFUSED).

All ideas are welcome to solve my problem!

Problem solved.
Seemed to be a problem in the firewall (2 times used the same port). Just strange that it worked before. So probably something to do with refresh of the browser...
