Add the 'friendly' values to event & notification system, good idea?

Post by safi78 »

Hi all,

I know I have asked this before, but I really (really) think this is useful. Isn't it valuable to have the 'friendly values' domoticz produces added to the event-stuff and notification-stuff?

The Dark Sky 'Sensors' have a 'prediction' (Sunny, Rain, etc) that is useful.

Temp/Hum have the 'Dry', 'Wet', and 'Comfortable' values.

Air Quality tell you when it's 'Excellent, Mediocre or Bad'.

This is REALLY useful stuff for notifications (instead of values to trigger) and scripting.

if prediction = sunny -> roll out the sunscreen
if prediction = rain -> send notification for umbrella, roll back the sunscreen.
if airquality = bad -> open my windows, turn on a fan, whatever
if Hum = Dry -> send command to humidifier to 'On'.

etc.
