Hi,
Through the above question, I want to know if it is possible that domoticz can also send emails generated by Fail2ban.
Fail2ban is installed by default on the stable version. I would like to make Fail2ban send emails when needed. By default Fail2ban send its mails via Sendmail. Sendmail is not installed by default on the Domoticz SD card image.
Can Domoticz send fail2ban mails too?
Thanks in advance!
Jan

You can configure fail2ban to send emails.
Not sure if you do need to install sendmail for this, but sending emails in linux is basic stuff.
No, domoticz can not do this for you, if you enable 'Send Errors as Notification' in the email settings of domoticz, you will receive an email when someone used a wrong username/password
