868Mhz Modules

Hi everyone;
I'm just getting my feet wet here with Domoticz and RFLink.
I have one RFLink already set up with a 433mhz and its working just fine; and in fact have written a new plugin for my (Bresser) weather station that I plan to send in as a contribution.
But I wanted to expand my options to use 868mhz as well but can't find much info about this around. The only 868mhz module I can find being used with RFLink is the one on the nodo store (Aurel). Are there others that work such as RFM69 (though this is SPI)?

There soon will be support for the CC1101 - 868 mhz module..

Ah okay; thanks for the info (and all the work on this)!
A simple follow up. I can see in the code some references to the FS20 protocol. I have some 868 sockets from conrad that use this protocol. FS20 isn't list in the supported devices and I can't tell from the code if it is or not. Can you confirm one way or the other?.

u guys think this will work like Rfxtrx868?

http://www.nodo-shop.nl/en/rflink-gatew ... kabel.html

would be cool to getting Visonic stuff status in there.

Thats just an RFLink withe an Aurel 868 instead of 433. If the protocol is supported it is supported on either frequency (I believe)
Edit: and that is the 868 module I mentioned in my first post. It is just a drop in replacement for the 433mhz used in the "Normal" RFlink

433mhz visonic devices are supported. No idea yet about the 868mhz version.. but we will look into it and get it working somehow

How about that FS20 question ;)

A question on 868 hardware; FSK or OOK

Trying to set up communication between an Orcon home ventilationsystem (MVS15). Frequentie 868,3 MHz and on the PCB of the Orcon there is a CC1101 chip visible.

Just wondering, which Aurel 868 MHz module is the preferred for the above system; The Aurel 868 MHz FSK Tranceiver module or the 868 MHz OOK Tranceiver module?

Already got something working? I have this module in my appartment:

@Bighouse

Not yet. Waiting for a new version (R46) of RFLink, hoping that there is additional support for 868MHz.

Also need an answer to this question; The Aurel 868 MHz FSK Tranceiver module or the 868 MHz OOK Tranceiver module?

Can you make a picture of the PCB? It looks like an Itho Daalderop RFT CO2-sensor 230V.
http://www.ithodaalderop.nl/sites/defau ... 20230v.pdf

The PCB may look like the one on this page: http://www.progz.nl/blog/index.php/2014 ... ft-part-1/ If that is the case it most likely uses (a variant of) the Itho RFT protocol https://gathering.tweakers.net/forum/li ... /1690945/0

@Templar,

See below a number of screenshots.

There are quite a number of differences, most relevant is the 868MHz RF chip, in the Orcon remote control that's the CC1101 and in the Itho CC1150. Also the CPU is different, same brand, but different series.

Could it be the case, that the difference are minor, and that it still should work using the Itho protocol?

Hmm okay, the Orcon can also receive information. Too bad we can't compare it with an Itho CO2 sender. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it would match. And I assume the Itho RFT sender and CO2 sender share the same protocol for convenience..

Hi,
Just bought the https://www.nodo-shop.nl/nl/42-rflink-868 . I'm interested in connecting the http://www.orcon.nl/producten/mvs-15rhb ... bediening/ to Domoticz.
Domoticz recognises the "RFLink Gateway USB" with "Version: 46.0".

How do I connect like the remote control: http://www.orcon.nl/wp-content/uploads/ ... g-15rf.pdf?

Should I do http://www.nemcon.nl/blog2/development ? What is the way to go?

Did you manage to get things working with your setup? I have the same transeiver from nodo-shop and also interested in connecting the Orcon MVS 15.

Is there any progress or update to this item?
Recently I did buy an RFLink gateway with 868 MHz module. Like to connect to my Orcon MVS-15RHB house ventilation system with 15RF wireless controllers through the gateway.
RFLink will be connected to current Domoticz system running on Raspberry hardware.

Same here, some progress to controll it with the RFLink?
