If have read about it earlier. Having the Apple TV 4 as the hub.
With the arrival of tvos 10 I wanted to configure it as the hub instead of an iPad.
But I cannot find it in tvos 10. Did Apple leave out this function last minute?

There is nothing to find. Just upgrading the TVos is sufficient. In the HomeApp you can see that the app is connected to the AppleTV.

Re: Homebridge-edomoticz plugin with Apple TV 4 as hub
maybe I do not understand how it works.
When launching the home app on the iPad and searching for accessoires I can configre the iPad as the hub in the configuration setting.
My assumption was to launch a simluar app on the Apple TV and mark it as the hub.
Apperently it is not the case. But do not understand how the Apple TV gets the accessoires and is to be marked as the hub.

Ok, configure it on the iPad. Not marking the iPad as hub. In that case the
Apple TV becomes automatically my hub @home.
And of course signing on with the same CloudId on iPad and Apple TV 4

And you have to have 2FA turned on on your AppleID/iCloud account.
