PTZ Support for cameras

Ciao,

Is there the possibility to add the PTZ support to the camera configuration (an buttons on the preview window) or at least a programmables (script/http) action to simulate them?

I have a Foscam IPCam with ptz and API/CGI support, to move it I have create a selector switch with the PTZ action using http action.
But to point the camera I have to move the switch, go back in camera preview and check, close the window, go back in switches etc etc... (or having 2 windows open, one on devices and one on camera preview)
I would be nice to have some buttons on the camera preview.
