new to Domoticz and just testing as an initial trial run of some Z-Wave Automation. I have installed, added my Aeotec Z-Wave stick and it detected the Nodes, I am assuming I did this right by choosing a type of "OpenZWaveUSB". I am just trying to get my head around how the config works. So while the nodes show each endpoint device (screenshot 1), I have an Aeotec repeater, Aeotec Smartswitch v6 and a new Aeotec LED Bulb then under devices it shows more then just each node (screenshot 2). I am guessing it shows a "device" for each function available of the different nodes?
My questions;
I have managed to name a couple and add them and have the Globe and Smart switch working but wasn't sure if there is an easy way to tell which "devices" correlate to which node as the nodeID and the DeviceID don't match in anyway?
Do I need to turn on polling? Is this what will enable the current status of the node to show up to date on the Dashboard?
How do I pull in the power use of the device plugged into the switch? or is only an overview of total power use for all nodes available as a total?
Are "events" essentially advanced versions of Scenes that you can plug in more logic? and if I create and set an event as active it will just watch for programmed in conditions and then follow through the actions specified?
