Major issues with Fibaro Motion Sensor
Is anyone currently working with the major issues there seems to be with Fibaro motions sensor?
Or is it just me that has problems with the motion devices?
I have 5 in total, only one have temperatures reporting, and one of the other has light level but no temperature.
Three have 2 - 3 random devices but mostly no temperatures.
And in addition to this, they only seems to work a couple of days and then no activity whatsoever.
I have a lot of scenes based on motion so this is a real set back for me in an otherwise excellent system (dzVents just makes scripting magically fun)
Working unit (right now):
Non-working unit (does not help to exclude/include again):

Same here, have 5 of them for motion and they work perfect.
I do disable the temp and lux instantly after inclusion because I don't need that.

And when including, you simply select "include node", press the button on the back of the motion sensor three times and everything is done?

Yes.
Could take some time for the termometer and lightmeter to appear. They are only created when they send an update. Guess that's after 1 degree change by default.

Or wake it up and change the settings to 0.1 degree and 1 lux difference.

You do have the option: Accept new Hardware Devices selecting in the Setup/Settings menu?

"unfortunately", yes
Re: Major issues with Fibaro Motion Sensor
I have the same stick and same setup as you. Got the same problem with fibaro motion sensors. No light or temp from them. So my guess it's the uzb1 stick. Are you running the latest firmware on the stick?

No idea, have been trying to find anything about firmware upgrade on their homepage without result.
But it sounds indeed like the problem resides with the stick.

I'm using the latest firmware, so still buggy.
To upgrade the firmware you need to install the Z-Way server software. In there you will find a option to firmware upgrade.

Re: Major issues with Fibaro Motion Sensor
So, the solution seems to be to throw away this usesless device then and buy the Aeontec stick instead?

Re: Major issues with Fibaro Motion Sensor
Are these new by any chance? I have had two fibaro for a year and they work fine. I added two more this week and they don't work properly at all. Could be new fibaro firmware?

Re: Major issues with Fibaro Motion Sensor
I'm using the aoetec gen 5 stick too.. so don't rush out to upgrade your stick if they are new.
