Hi,
Just a quick question if anybody already started some development for velbus support.
I just completed setting up a development environment in visual studio and want to add some basic velbus support.
I only have some VMB4RY and VELVMB4RYNO components. The VMB4RY is a component with 4 inputs and 4 outputs and you can’t buy them anymore.
VELVMB4RYNO has 4 outputs, so I can start with adding support for these components.
I wrote a basic android app before who could search the velbus components on the network and control the VMB4RY so I already know how the velbus protocol works.
I also want to add a tcp server for velbus, So people easely can connect the velbus from the velbuslink app over the network based on the c code from jeroends found on the velbus forum

Re: Velbus support
Hello everyone
Sorry to bump an old thread, it just seems the most appropriate thing to do.
Is there anyone here who is interested in developing support for www.velbus.eu hardware?
I'm not a programmer, but I'm happy to help with access to whatever modules you would like to work with.
Best wishes,
Stuart

Hello Stuart (@MDAR),
You reacted on an almost 5 year old post. This means that there haven't been much interest the last 5 years.
Personally I would not waist any time to develop a plugin, as there exist a number of Node-RED nodes to interface with Velbus.
From Node-Red it is an easy and small step to send messages to Domoticz.
You have been involved in it: https://forum.velbus.eu/t/node-red-integration/15632
See also: https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-velbus.
If you need some support to interface with Domoticz, do not hesitate to ask.
