Fibaro FGMS-001 no routed connection

Post by d3rax »

Hello,

I want to place my Fibaro FGMS-001 in the hall way. When I do a range test it indicates that m-sensor cannot directly connect to the controller. I have also a Fibaro Smoke detector FGSD-002 (z-wave plus) in the hall way that is directly connect to the controller.

The m-sensor should make a routed connection via the smoke detector with the controller, right?

The range test of the m-sensor tries to make a routed connection (blinks yellow), but fails. I get two purple flashes and then a red light.

Here is a screenshot of my z-wave network.

Hope you guys have a suggestion.

In general battery powered devices will go into a sleep and will not act as router in a Z-wave network.
You probably need a couple of powered devices to build a stable zwave mesh network.
