Not getting KAKU switch to work with RFLink on Synology
Posted: Saturday 26 March 2016 21:49
Hi,
This week I bought a RFLink transceiver and some KAKU switches to play around with. I am running Domoticz on my Synology DS115 (package from Jumbotroll, currently version 3.5010). The RFLink is recognized immediately, however I cannot add any KAKU switches no matter how I try. I keep getting timeouts when I send a command to the switch.
To make sure that everything is working I attached the RFLink to my Windows PC and installed Domoticz on that PC. Added the RFLink and the KAKU switches were recognized first try! So the problem must be somewhere in my Synology setup.
Below is the log of one of my tries. As you can see the RFLink is sending a command but then it just waits for the timeout, while the switch is in learning mode. I even tried to add the switch on my Windows PC and then (without resetting the switch) add it to my Synology with the same ID, but that did not work as well. So my guess is something goes wrong sending the command from the Synology?
I am not sure what I can do next to investigate or collect more information to solve this problem, so if anyone has pointers on that please shoot. Thanks in advance.
