Resyncing status of devices with Domoticz after an outage ?

Post by Truff »

If my Domoticz box was down for day so it became out of sync with the status of various devices like contact switches (e.g. door has changed from closed to open and is still open) then whats the best method to re-syncronise the current status of all of the devices and Domoticz ?

Would a 'Heal Network' do this ? Or should I be enabling polling ?

You can't poll battery powered devices.
Only option I found so far is checking every door/window.

Someone recently suggested having an OnStartup event for Domoticz that could restore saved states.
Zwave - Sigma Z+ stick, Fibaro, Horstmann, Neo Coolcam, EUROtronic
RFlink - IR detectors and temperatures
Wifi - YeeLights, ESP32s, Anoop sockets
Zigbee - lots with zigbee2mqtt and ZbBridge

But what if the state changed during zwave offline?
Domoticz already memorizes last state in database. Other topic was for rfxcom I think.
