In relation to access control I 'm looking for this opportunity. I am wondering if anyone has experience with this ? I then hope to be able to learn.
Thanks in advance
anyone succeeded with the connection of a wired keypad/tag reader?

Re: anyone succeeded with the connection of a wired keypad/tag reader?
For the wired part I have no experience with it. I use the benext tag reader and it works OK. If you have z-wave I would recommend this device.
It has a keypad (only numbers 1-4, but a code can have 10 or 12 digits), which comes in handy for an occasional visitor. The functionality is easy. press the home button (or away) and scan the tag... done
I use it with a script that allows alarm control by use of the tag reader/keypad and/or by the use of the domoticz security panel.
Also after approximately 3 months, has not dropped, so I would call that part more than OK!
So my opinion is: no need for a wired tag reader!
