Update script

To start with the http://www.domoticz.com/forum/tracker.php?p=2to he request tracker isn't working so I haven't been able to create a ID.

To the request:

It would maybe a good idea that the update script both the stable and bete should check for a new version before running.

Yes there are 2 scripts I know but it wasn't my point.

My point was what this happen to me.
I'm was running beta and update while back the name of the image file was changed to arm7
I didn't install that beta so I missed the updated beta script.

After that I could no longer update my system using the web gui.

If there had been a check in the beta script for new version of it self I would never had the problem.


Ya I know if you are running beta you should know your way around the system and linux. So I changed the script my self...
