Interfacing to PIR sensor wiring in existing alarm panel

Hi all

I'd like to use Domoticz (with Raspberry Pi + Razberry) to control lights etc via Z-Wave.

It would be nice to use the existing PIR sensors of my alarm system as triggers to switch the lights.

Does anyone know of a way to interface to the PIR wiring in my alarm panel ?

Many thanks for any ideas...

You need to have information on how your alarm is connected and function. One way is with Fibaro Universal Sensor, install it between your PIR and the alarm control unit:

What type of alarm do you have MuddyMickey & does it do IP comms?

I have a Texecom & wrote a python script to check every couple of seconds. Works fine for reporting but the lag is too great to turn lights on when you enter a room.

I built a little mysensors arduino mini pcb with 7 inputs and found it works fine. The fibaro binary works well but is expensive and only sees 2 sensors.
