Domoticz status running but offline

Recently I have installed Domoticz on my RPI 2 and I observed Domoticz keeps going offline regularly (it does not stay online more than a day).
Searching for a script to automatically detect when Domoticz is offline , I have found one which use sudo service domoticz.sh status
This script won't work because although RPI reports domoticz status as running , Domoticz appears in my browser as offline. Internet connection is functionally all the time. Rpi power source is stable and capable of supplying the necessary power. Temperature is in the normal limits.

The only solution I came is restarting periodically Domoticz service.

Does anybody came across this problem too?
