blinds are inverted (open = close) - don't judge me. i'll look at it - definitely there was a reason (about 18 months ago) why I got to this point..!

From the original Alexa development - feedback from the community came to :
"the blinds should be put back to the correct values ... (on = On, Off=Off ... it is more logical that turn on closes the blinds and turn off opens them"
Happy to have that conversation again, but would want consensus

hi, thanks for creating this great initiative!
I did al the steps but i can't get it to work:
- Created a controlicz user with user rights and device sharing enabled => OK ??
- Domain is available via SSH domoticz.*****.nl can login with my admin account and controlicz account => OK
- From the controlicz page, the test succeeds when i click the test connection button => OK
- Google Home app display's the "[test] controlicz" instance when adding new device => OK
- when adding i got a prompt to login ( I login with my Controlicz page credentialz) => OK
- pop-up page for allow/deny connectoin => OK
- when G-Home is linking [test] controlicz => ERROR, couldn't update settings
==> when i use the test credentials listed on you G-project-page it succesfully adds the controls.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello, today, no 404

l have blinds defined in domoticz. What should I say to open them ?
When I say "ouvre le velux" (open the blind called velux in french) Google says "ok J'allume la lumière velux" (ok I turn on the light velux" ans the blind .... Closes.
Hmmm...funny. Because when I say "Ouvre le volet du salon", it works fine. I mean it says "ok j'allume la lumière volet du salon" and it opens the shutter.
What kind of device are you using for you're blinds? My shutter is managed by a Qubino Zwave module that is recognized by domoticz as a dimmer.

check your SSL port is correct in Controlicz - oh and that the username/password you've given Controlicz can access your Domoticz instance

hi, thanks for the support!
I have entered port 443, (https), and created a Controlicz user + pass, when i click "test domoticz", controlicz can connect to domoticz
(for a quick test i changed to port 80, than controlicz can't connect)

yep, and after that i get a login prompt, with which i login with my controlicz website credentials, followed by an accept/deny screen, when accepted i'm brought back to G-home app, and that follows with a "can't configure, check connection error".

Hello,
I was checking the site controlicz and I have a question for sign up:
Signup to Controlicz
Username or Email : Okay this clear I enter my email adress in.
Password : what password do you need? because is strange if you need my email adress password.
domoticz.host.net : For this I need to create an DNS server that will connect to my domoticz?
443 : okay, this is clear open the port to my domoticz.
controlicz_user : must I create the same user name on my domoticz?
controlicz_password : Enter the password from my domoticz with the user what I add above.
Regards,
Michel

Hi -
Email;
Password for Controlicz account (NOT your actual email password!)
yep - domoticz DNS (or static IP)
port - whatever you've configured domoticz to use - i would suggest non-standard port number
controlicz_user/password - the domoticz username/password you've created for Controlicz ON your Domoticz instance.

Hi, My Google Home has stopped connecting to my Domoticz, when I ask Google to sync devices i get "Sorry an error occurred syncing Controlicz" When I look at my firewall logs I don't see any incoming connections. If I go to
https://www.controlicz.com login and click "Test connection to your Domoticz" this passes and I see an incoming connection on my firewall from an Amazon IP address.
Is something broken?
Since a few days I am also no longer able to sync my devices, Google Home responds with 'An error occurred while syncing Controlicz'. I am still able to control my devices. Any suggestions?
Sander

Can you disable and reenable the test in the simulation?
