Is the Amazon Contact and Motion Sensor APIs and integration for Alexa routines fully implemented or planned in Controlicz?
When creating an Alexa routine using the "When this happens" -> voice it seems to work ok controlling known devices, however if you try and use "When this Happens" -> Device, it just displays "We were unable to find and supported devices."
Using the "Device" for the "When this happens" you can have Alexa say something based on the state change of the device. For example a door sensor when open could be set to have Alex say "Front door is open".
Thanks

hi tlkg
i am looking to implement this - the challenge is less around the Contact & Motion Sensor API, than it is in getting Domoticz to proactively report to Controlicz in a simple and secure way. It's on the roadmap for sure

Hello Everybody!
Tried to set up a new Domoticz server with Controlicz today. On the Controlicz website all my devices are shown. But Alexa finds none. Any idea what could be wrong?

Yeah.. I thought that you get something for free and you only have to pay for extras. But it seems you get nothing for free. I've deleted my account.

Please don't make this a priority, because it's really not, but did you ever figure out how to have Alexa respond with Fahrenheit values? So when I ask what the upstairs temperature is, Alexa will respond with 161 degress, the Celcius equivalent of the temperature, which is 72 Fahrenheit.

Hi,
I am having problems with a setpoint device.
The current (set) temperature is displayed, but I cannot change the value.
The switches are greyed out, and status is reported as "other"
please see screenshot attached.
what am I doing wrong?

Hi TriStanp,
I face the same 'problem' but if you say to Google Assistant / Home 'zet verwarming in ruimte x op y graden' seems to work
So control with voice works but as interface on mobile it doesn't work at this moment ?

Hi, it's a wider issue with the home app - it works with the Home Hub, but not the phone app.
It does work with the Google Assistant however

Hi,
If I create a routine in the Alexa application under Android to open a blind, the "ON" command is not executed as an "ON" command but as a "Set Level" command at 100%.
Domoticz receives a "Set Level" command (without percentage in logs) that does not work for me.
No problem with the "OFF" command.
Is it a communication problem of the application or Controlicz?

Another thermostat question.
I have a nefit easy thermostat in my living room and a Spirit radiator valve in my bedroom. Now both of these devices present a temperature sensor and a setpoint. What I'm finding is that if I ask what the temperature is, that the setpoint is picked up as a temperature and averaged into the mix.
So if I ask for the temperature in the living room I get an average of the setpoint and the actual temperature. If I ask for the house temperature it seems to use all four values.
Is there something I'm missing on the config side to stop this happening?

o_0 that's definitely not right! If the thermostat has ambient temperature, then it should show it, otherwise it will show the setpoint.
Re: House temp, I've not observed that, so I wonder if there's a way of specifying which temp sensor/thermostat to use for that case

Pleased to announce Controlicz is now compatible with Ngrok, so another way to secure your connection is open to you.
