Hi Luigi,
I will tell you my experiences. I wanted a wall tablet interface. First I tried the frontpage.html, but that was quite a challenge for me to configure it. So I decided to give ImperiHome a try. It looks nice and is easy to configure. I did purchase the ImperiHome app on iOS and Android. The Android app has some more options
LINK. So I continued with Android instead.
I do not have any Nginx experience. My Domoticz installation can only be accessed via the local network. I use OpenVPN if I need to access my local network.
The MyDomoAtHome is installed on my Rpi via the instructions given on github (not the wiki).
The Alarm Panel of Domoticz (the numeric keypad) will not open when you press it in ImperiHome, you can only see the status. So I made a workaround and included a virtual Alarm Active switch (script) to arm/disarm the alarm. See below 2 screenshots. So first image you see 3 buttons at the bottom for the alarm.
1) Deuren, you can see quickly checks if all doors/windows are closed. (in imperihome it is the "composite security widget" this widget contains the status of several sensors and can turn green or red)
2) Alarm Active, when pressed it change the Domoticz security panel status from disarmed to armed. (in imperihome it is a simple switch, green or red)
3) Domoticz Security Panel. (in imperihome "sensor widget" it shows the current sensor value, no green or red only text status update)
Still i'm not 100% happy I would like to include a delay in the Alarm Active switch, but did not manage that yet. It would be nice if the numeric keypad can be opened from the 3rd button.
P.s you can also set the secpanel url in imperihome, but that did not look nice.
I also read you can create a popup if the doorbell is pressed that the front door camera view will be maximized, but also that is still on the to-do list.

Hello, Nginx in on your side, both conf are the same.
Imperihome app has no possibility to key in a code, this is a limitation on the app side.

Thanks for the info.
the app is really looking good and customizable, very nice.
But, does the app also have voice control?
Soon I will update my system with this app and the Nginx proxy

Yes it has. I have tested that, but the build-in version in ImperiHome (android) did not get all my commands.
I can reccommand:
Home Automation Voice Commands the app has a bad design, but it works and is not so complicated as
Tasker with
Autovoice. I can say "Ok Google" it start listening and then for example "turn on the tv lights" those words are captured by the Home Automation Voice Commands app and will switch on (or off) idx ## in Domoticz. Really fun, wife and kids are have a great time. I don't need to buy a Google Home device. The tablet provides the same functionality. Can start Spotify etc. I can even speak dutch, but in English more commands are available.
Another topic is the screen wake-up based on front facing camera motion. I can recommend that as well! Tasker incl.
Motion Detector.

Oke, nice but i think we will use on our smartphones the Domoticz app because of the rooms overview you can create. and this lacks in imperihome.
But for a cental display the imperirihome is very nice, also the voice commands. What kind of display/tablet do you use

I have a fully fonctionnal Pi2+Domoticz+MDAH, working well
and for fun I tested the automated packages on syno, and it works also very well
Great job epierre and jumbotroll, that's excellent to see there is now a automated package for synology, a big change since mdah image in docker
EDIT: I believed I had a problem with jdah, but no, it was just a port to open (3002, coz it wasn't in firewall rules), and a json fil to copy in /etc/mydomoathome. Works perfect on my DS.

I do the sorting by room, and in Imperihome you can import in the landscape mode your image to do the same as in domticz

for those who asked, I am looking at pm2 to replace forever. PM2 says about memory used by the app, see below:
pm2 list

│ App name │ id │ mode │ pid │ status │ restart │ uptime │ memory │ watching │

Hi all!
I'm playing with a domoticz installation on my Synology DS211j.
I'm trying to find a possible solution to MyDomoAtHome that do not install...and the problem is nodejs.
The last installable version is the 0.10 but MDAH requires v4...and ARMv5 (my cpu) isn't more supported by node.
What workaround can i apply to use only synology and imperihome app?
Is there an old version of mdah i can use?
Thanks in advance for your help

hi @epierre thanks for your reply.
I've installed nodejs 0.10.
When i try to install MDAH it fails telling that needs v4.0...
Take a look at screesnhots.

- mdah.JPG (20.55 KiB) Viewed 4012 times
DSM 6.0

yes from DSM6 there is a nodejs_v4 package available
https://www.synology.com/en-global/dsm/ ... Node_js_v4
but right DS211J is not in...
you have the 0.12 which is good too (0.10 is to be dropped...) :
https://www.synology.com/en-global/dsm/ ... es/Node_js
and try the above package and tell me if it works, or I'll resubmit one with DSM6 path and 0.12

I can confirm that for armv5 the last version is 0.10.
It can be see browsing here:
http://download.synology.com/download/Package/spk/
Probably the 0.12 was broken and removed:
https://forum.synology.com/enu/viewtopic.php?t=106230
Hi,
AMRv5-based Synology NAS (like the x11 models) can only compile Node.js version 0.10.x (See New Node.js 0.12 package is broken on Armada370)
More recent ARM models support node v.0.12.x

I don't have the link here but they were out before from the community, don't know your arch name:
https://synocommunity.com/package/node
armv7 crashes on armv5 (arm v5 is PI 1 (and 2?)...)
