Thanks for reporting - I added temperature and humidity support based on the docs, which says there is one message for both. It looks to now come through as separate messages. I've updated my code to handle, and will be in the next beta update or my github code if you want to test now.

That seems to be really complicated. I have switched off and on the gateway and now I have 3 sensors updated at the same time: temp only, humidity only and temp&humidity. So the initial message (after gateway power off and on was the combined one and updates seem to be coming separate.

Have not updated Domoticz to your beta channel though.

Also, regarding multiple gateways, it seems, it will be necessity in my home as single gateway does not cover all areas I need the sensors to be placed (multiple floors). Will check when the rest of the sensors arrive though.

Is there any plan to ass the alarm/sounds feature?
Thanks, the sound control will be added if it becomes available - like the RGB which wasn't available initially.
Understood. I am looking forward ;)

Don't use multiple gateways :)

But seriously, are you using multiple because you can, or is there an actual need?

One Xiaomi Gateway didn't allowed me to have 3 independent zones concerning to the Alarm feature.
I wanted to be at home with the garage armed... wanted to be a sleep with the garage and part of the home armed... and wanted to be away from home with the all the zones armed... that was the first reason to buy 3 gateways...

The other reason was zigbee coverage.... garage is 2 floors down... and at home sometimes some zigbee devices i have on my room would be offline.

With the 3 gateways all works 100% because my wifi coverage is good everywhere.. :)

Is the zone support no longer an issue since you would now be using Domoticz rules?

Actual coverage is an issue in my case. Already on second floor I am unable to have the devices reporting to Gateway, so multiple ones would help.

Do you have any of the Xiaomi Zigbee power sockets, since they are supposed to act as a repeater?

Also, did your temperature and humidity devices get fixed with my update?

One of the reasons I haven't added multiple gateway support is that I couldn't see an existing way to add multiple passwords and ips for a single hardware device.

Following Zigbee protocol each device on main power have to act as a "router" / range extender

Image

Fact is to know if the gateway is a coordinator or a router.

Yeap and easy to set, tooks 5 minutes :
- openning
- read instruction
- remove old
- wire new and test
- add to the gateway
- add to domoticz
- put to definitive place

In your image I see that mounting box is square but in Russia used round mounting boxes 67 mm in diameter. I also ordered two wall switches, but I have not yet come up with how to mount a square in a circle :?

I haven't tested conclusively, but it seems like the smart plugs function as a repeater. I'm not sure because messages did not come through for a far away sensor I added, then they started to after a while.

Hi, after last update, I can't to check status of Smart Plug in Lua script like this command

Code: Select all

print ('SmartPlug02 ' .. devicechanged['SmartPlug02'])
before it worked, could you check out what I'm doing wrong?

Using domoticz beta 3.6395 sending order doesn't work to wall switch.

Will try your git tonight

Having 2 simples on/off (channel 0 & channel 1)device will make more sense than a selector one.

Got a simple wirless switch not reconize too 86sw1 type too will try it with you github

I checked simple json request for Smart Plug

Code: Select all

...8080/json.htm?type=command&param=switchlight&idx=99&switchcmd=On
response:

Code: Select all

{
   "status" : "OK",
   "title" : "SwitchLight"
}
but nothing happened
same json for Yeelight is ok
