Little progress
The temperature sensor is now recognized as thermostat. Alexa responsed with ....does not support that when ask about the temperature

It's almost working perfectly for me now. Can see both temps and setpoint of my sensor and thermostat via the app. Can query the current temp and setpoint perfectly via voice. Only small thing is when I ask to change setpoint or change via the app it comes up with an error but it works regardless....so not a major.

Sounds like a great way for you to receive donations of smart home gear from people so you can get their hardware working.

Sorry for the late reply I've been out all day.
Just tried and the temperature is working fine on my system now, the fix you've applied today has certainly worked for me.

So you just need Room plans (at least one), you don't need floor plans. The reason Controlicz uses domoticz Room Plans is just to allow you to filter which devices Alexa sees (I copied this from the HA bridge at someone's request).
Controlicz should know lights are lights, so you should be good. To turn off lights by 'room' in Alexa, I think the best option is to set up Routines in the alexa app.
You can also control the name of the light in Alexa by adding - Controlicz: <nameyouwantalexatouse> in the Domoticz description field.

This may have been answered already, but can Alexa/controlicz give feed back on power consumption the is presented in domoticz
For example
“Alexa, how much electricity am I using?”
“Alexa, how much solar power am I generating?”

I have a question or perhaps a feature request.
My ISP does not provide me with a publicly reachable IP so I use my.domoticz.com for managing my Domoticz. Though currently I am using HA Bridge, I would definitely want to switch to Controlicz but since my Domoticz instance is not directly reachable how do I do it?
Is there a way you guys can recommend or something that can be done?

I am having troubles with the commands of Alexa. Am I the only one??
Switchinh ON/OFF Alexa replies with "OK" but nothing happens and nothing to see in the log's
Asking Temperature Alexa replies that Temp is not possible for device bla bla.
Anything i can check on my end???

I'm having the same issues as you since last night also. Alexa says "OK" but Domoticz is not changing.

Hi there - can you disable and re-enable the skill? I think Amazon have had some issue with handling tokens, not sure it's refreshing them

Had to disable and then re enable the skill last night to get the skill working again.
