Are you using a coin in the slot in the centre on the back of the unit (which could be covered by tape).
Domoticz Latest β, RPi 4B with 110Gb SSD for Domoticz, RPi 4B with 110Gb SSD for Node-Red & a RPi 2B for logging / IP addressing. RFXCOM, PiZiGate, Z-Wave, Harmony, Hue lamps and a bit of Broadlink.

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
I've been finding the same thing sometimes with my motion sensors lately. Most of the time they work fine, but sometimes they don't go into an 'Off' state. They control lights and so as an interim measure I've created an event that checks when they the light was last seen. If it's 3 minutes ago or more, then the event turns the light off and sets the sensor to 'Off'.
On Domoticz version 4.10007, mihome app version 5.4.61 and gateway firmware 1.4.1_167.0158
Wondering how many others are experiencing this and if there's any idea as to the cause.
I currently have 21 devices connected to the gateway so am under the limit of 30.
Cheers.

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
I had the same problem with my doorsensors in my garage, far from the xiaomi gateway. I guessed this was caused because the signal goes through a big window with 'HR super plus' glass which has a metal coating. (It's also blocks my wifi signal unfortunatly)
This can be improved by adding a Xiaomi power plug in between, they act as a repeater. (make sure it's the zigbee version, there are a lot of wifi version these days)
I also had some examples where the Xiaomi home app had the correct messages in the log but they didn't appear in Domoticz. I think the wifi between the Xiaomi gateway and Domoticz is also a weak link.
I switched to a PiZigate this week replacing the xiaomi gateway and Hue bridge. The zigbee signal is now much better because the bulbs also relay the signal and no more wifi in the system... After only 3 days I'm very enthousiastic about the stability, I never should have bought the Xiami gateway

The thing is, everything had been working flawlessly for at least 6 months. I was wondering if it was more a firmware update to the gateway. I should no better but updated it when available rather than leaving it as it was (if it ain't broke...). I think my issues started around when I did that, but it could also be a coincidence.ronaldbro wrote: ↑Saturday 30 March 2019 23:51 I had the same problem with my doorsensors in my garage, far from the xiaomi gateway. I actually have a few of the zigbee power plugs around the house, so if they do act as repeaters, this shouldn't be an issue.
I have noticed more and more though when I go into the MiHome app and click on one of the power plugs it says updating then I get an network error message or something similar, so not sure if there's been issues with the Xiaomi servers (I'm using China). There shouldn't be any issue with the gateway getting wifi signal as it's in the same room as my AP. When getting the weird sensor issues I did try moving the gateway to a more central location with no real change. Sometimes it works flawlessly for a while and others not so much.

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
Hi, I have a problem with wireless switch (round one) single click, double click. I have two of them and they just stop working. Inside domoticz everthing look fine, I have added both of them as all other devices, log show all actions, click events etc. For example one is used to turn on yeelight light in living room, everything work fine without problem and then it just stop working. I don't know where to start looking. In domoticz toggle script works, if I click inside domoticz on switch single click it will toogle yeelight, battery looks fine. Under xioami mi app all logs are there, switch is normally added. If you have idea what can be issue please share. Thanks in advance.

Any idea if we can use this doorbell in Domoticz? With just the doorbell state, or maybe also the image stream??

New Xiaomi device:
https://www.banggood.com/Xiaomi-Linptec ... rehouse=CN
Wireless Doorbell with kinetic button. The wifi version is compatible with Mi Home app.
It is possible to supportit the Domo plugin? It is a normal button, no more.

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
Hello
I have a problem with Xiaomi WIRED DUAL WALL SWITCH.
It only have these statuses:
channel_0: on, off
channel_1: on, off
This is working just as specified in the wiki https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Xiaomi_Gateway_(Aqara).
However in Mi Home app, they have other statuses: press 1, press 2, press 1 & 2.
I wanted to use this dual click for some automation (to non-xiaomi devices), but now I can't do it.
Some other switches in domoticz have a status related to the clicks (e.g. double click).
Did any one run into this problem ?
Is there a way to get these statuses into domoticz in order to use them for automation ? I can't even put them in a lua script if they don't exist.
Corbin & Deennoo have done a great job creating this plugin, but because it seems not really maintained for one year (github) and because this device (dual wired wall switch) exist for a long time and this problem was not treated before, I am not hopeful these statuses will be added.
I have read this thread from page 100 to 122 to see, but while comparable issues were escalated, the exact same was not.
Alternatively, is there a way I can simulate the "dual click" with EXISTING statuses in blockly ?
Example:
get status channel 0
get status channel 1
Look every second: if status channel 0 changed and status channel 1 changed too, then this is a dual click.
I don't see how to create timed conditions in blockly. Anyway it would be a bit pity to recreate a dual click identification as it already exists natively in the device...
Alternatively (again), is there a way to identify the dual click in Mi home, and somehow escalate something to domoticz ? In Mi home I am looking, but is there a way to send a URL or something ? I didn't find.
Thank you.

We should wait for a gateway update, if it's planned.

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
This question has been asked before but no reply: Is it possible to have the Aqara smoke sensors give sound alarm initiated from Domoticz? I want them to give all alarm when one device senses smoke, or as an intruder alarm in my house.
I use Domoticz beta with Zigate.

Are there real differents between the old en new versions?
Or is there a EU and Chnia version?
Or just buy and do the wiki and works:-)

This is because the gateway doesn't expose the Ikea light on the API.

Is there somewhere a guide on adding support for more Xiaomi products to the XiaomiGateway code?
Are there any active developers that work on the XiaomiGateway? Someone who could get me up to speed?
