That's my Raspberry with Arduino as a (double) RF receiver/transmitter and mesh-network manager.
Both separately connected to the LAN.]

Really like these hardware_home_made_pron_pics! :D
I'm looking forward for your how to!
I think an arduino gateway will be a valuable addition for Domoticz.

I think that's what I'm trying to do. What is your mesh network made of? Other Arduino's?

Other arduinos and 2.4GHz protocol.

@Derik - how to, I guess, is impossible as it has taken me around 2 years of trying everything I've found on internet.
I'd like to move for other solution tho. Like this: https://github.com/mysensors/Arduino
But it's not supported by Domoticz :-(

Today I retired my iPad 1. Future use is only working as a Domoticz wall panel.
I've a lot of devices, weather reports and web-radio control buttons.

A 15W power plug is in the storage behind the right door. I made 15mm drill-hole behind the wall-mount.
A 1.5m cable leads to the power plug.

I've a "black-box" web-radio from ELV http://www.elv.de/elv-fs20-internet-rad ... usatz.html .
It can be operated via URL requests. So no problem with changing stations, volume, mute,...from Domoticz.

Meanwhile I found MPD ("Music Play Daemon") which is pure SW and can be used as a Web-radio server for streaming. Audio-out via HDMI, analogue or http
Unfortunately it does not work with Domoticz on the same Raspberry Pi when using the analogue-audio out. Has something to do with the ALSA driver.

The iPad is always on but the screen will shut-off after some minutes.

Today I hanged a 21,5'' android display to the wall to use with domoticz and emoncms energy monitoring

The display is quite big so I can use a split screen to have the current energy dial and the several temperature sensor values always visible.

@Gusimelo do you have any more info to share on that screen? Is the OS embedded? Is it touch?

Will look 100% when you hide that power cable ;)

it's an idisplay:

Mine is an older model, the new ones should be much better

It's basically an oversized android tablet

I have a smaller which has a stand:

ahahahah!... No!... I'm lucky, I guess! These are older tablets that I got... for free :)

My brother works in the interactive media industry and had these displays lying around... I kinda borrowed them indefinitely... they are now obsolete for his work, but are perfect for this :)

He also borrowed me a microsoft kinect and I'm looking for a way to somehow integrate it with domoticz... it would be nice to control lights and stuff just by pointing at them or something :)

My latest project: a rain sensor from http://www.rainsensors.com/

Image

I fitted a Fibaro universal sensor inside (fits easily) and attached a waterproof temperature sensor as well. It's an optical sensor (works the same ways as automatic wipers in a car) so I know it's raining the very instant a raindrop touches the dome 8-)

I got the inspiration from here: http://www.openremote.org/display/docs/ ... sal+Sensor

Looks nice ...

Hopefully you do not get the SmartMeter in your house ...

Expensive hardware ...

Everything was possible with the solarmeter.
Upload to PVO, which dates back get in Domoticz.

Or a counter S0
