Are these parameters documented?pipiche wrote: ↑Wednesday 11 January 2023 11:50 I never took much attention to the slider inside the Color widget, may be there is a different beaviour on the way Domoticz is sending the information to the plugin , may be it has changed .
I'll setup a test environment and check that
Didn't you set any parameter to get a smooth move of the level control ?

You can eventually enable debugCommand ( in the debug parameters) this will increase the level of debug when doing commands from Domoticz, and you might check if they are different

Re: Ikea lamp does work work correctly
I looked into the parameters, set the first to 255, all others to 1. Did not make a difference.
Then modified the debug settings, set the : "widget" on.
Now when I modify the level and color of the lamp, I see this on the Domoticz console:
Looks good, I can see brightness level and color temp.
When I set that same light to switch based on timed event, I see this:
No specific setting for brightness and color temp. Does this make any sense?
Then modified the debug settings, set the : "widget" on.
Now when I modify the level and color of the lamp, I see this on the Domoticz console:
Code: Select all
2023-01-16 15:10:46.464 Status: setcolbrightnessvalue: ID: 1249, bri: 50, color: '{m: 2, RGB: 000000, CWWW: 06f9, CT: 249}'
When I set that same light to switch based on timed event, I see this:
Code: Select all
2023-01-16 15:12:01.516 ZigbeeConbee: UpdateDevice - (lampje openhaard 1) 1:3

Re: Ikea lamp does work work correctly
Hmmm... more info. I feel we're getting closer to the root.
I have two Ikea lamps in a lamp fixture with 2 sockets. Each of the lamps are in Domoticz as individual device. When I control them using timed events on the widget, they donot behave correctly: on/off and color work fine, brightness does not.
But now I have both lamps in a group, so I can control them in synch. When I define a timer on the group widget, everything works OK!!!
So it looks like the individual lamp widget is at fault, the group widget works OK.
Does this help?

Re: Ikea lamp does work work correctly
I ran some more tests, and observed a full cycle on timed events.
I can now confirm this is working: as long as a lamp is in a group, even as a single lamp in that group, all timers and scene actions work properly on that group.
Timers and scene actions on the individual lamp widget work partly: color and on/off are working OK, brightness level does not.
So for now, things work. I would suggest either to fix the problem, or to document it as a peculiarity. I'm available for testing fixes.

Re: Ikea lamp does work work correctly
What is the current status?
Everything works OK for me thanks to that work-around using a lamp as group, but obviously for the long run it would be more elegant if it works on its own...
