I'm also running firmware 236, but no joy on the cheap doorbell.
Removed battery from the button, unpluggued doorbell itself, no joy.....
This is what I see for switch types

In the type drop box below that I see this:

The switch still does not detect, and I do not see the SelectPlus anywhere, am I missing something?
Think I will just buy another one....

Did put back the battery in the switch and pressed the button, it should be available in used devices section
You wont find it there (your screenshots)

Devices as in setup - devices?
Should I also first go to setup-settings and choose "Accept new Hardware Devices"?
I have been there also, so far without joy.
I did also remove and refitted the battery, as well al unplug the actual doorbell.
Will try again with the "Accept new hw devices" just in case also....will update
Checked the sticker on the back of the actual doorbell, it actually states SelectPlus 200689103 there.

Maybe a stupid question but you have undec and byron enabled in rfxcom hardware settings?
Accept new hardware has to be checked also.
And will write it down again just in case.
1. Unplug the door chime
2. Pull the battery from the door chime button
3. Enable "accept new hardware" in settings
4. Check undec & byron in RFXtrx433 hardware settings
5. Put the battery back in de door chime button
6. Press it a couple of times
7. Now go and see if Domo found some new unused devices
8. If found then add the new door chime to your switches
9. Now plug in the door chime in to your socket
10. Press the door chime button to learn the new code in to the door chime
11. Unplug the door chime again from the socket and wait a minute
12. Plug it back in and tick the button in your switch windows of Domo to learn it also
13. If all goes well then the Chime will work by Domo and button

Yes!!!!!
Don't ask me why, I had the undec and byron enabled, but also most other protocols. Maybe that was the problem.
I have set it back to default, enabled undec and byron, and now it sees it.
It also switches on from Domoticz (I can make it chime)
It seems to have unpaired with my button, will work on that tomorrow.
Thanks for all the help!

Hi,
Reading this posting I decided to pick up one of these cheap chimes at Action. The one I have says 200689101 on the back of the chime. This is the exact same modelnr as stated in the RFXcom user guide in the supported protocols alphabetical list (2.2.2) SelectPlus200689101 & SelectPlus200689103.
Because I have the RFXtrx-433 (without the E) I cannot use the 236 version firmware, so I flashed the type 2 firmware version 183. According the same protocol list the type 2 firmware should support this chime but no matter what I try I cannot get it detected in domoticz.
I Selected Byron SX (was already selected because I have a Byron SX converter working in my setup) and undec on.
Accept new hardware activated
Chime and button paired
Battery removed and chime unplugged
battery inserted again
and every other variation but the button will not appear in the hardware list.
Please advise...
Thanks for the help.
Oh.. I'm using domoticz on a raspberry pi. Stable version 2.2025

Is the button received in RFXmngr?

I checked just now and no, it's not.

So, what could this mean?
De device should be supported by rfxcom and it does work standalone but it is not detected in the RFXmngr and therefor does not work in domoticz.
The fact the it works standalone means it is transmitting but the RFXcom is not registering?!?

indeed, first one wasn't detected.
When i bought the second one it was detected when i ticked the learn button in Domo and hit the doorbell button.
It's detected as SelectPlus door Chime
Any idea what caused this? I also got a SelectPlus (the 200689103), I enabled Byron protocol and I followed these steps:
1. Unplug the door chime
2. Pull the battery from the door chime button
3. Enable "accept new hardware" in settings
4. Check undec & byron in RFXtrx433 hardware settings
5. Put the battery back in de door chime button

I can't get the darn thing to work. Neither Domoticz nor RFXMGR picks up a signal
. Running version 2250, with the latest firmware on the RFXTRX.
Not even undec picks something up.

Same problem here, followed the described steps but no banana. I can't get my doorbell detected.
- Restarted my raspberry
- Only enabled Byron SX & undec on
- Removed the battery
- Put domoticz in discovery mode
Does the doorbell take a new transmitter id everytime you put in a battery?

A beta firmware version 237 and updated RFXmngr is available on request. However, this needs also an update of Domoticz.
Version 237 will be released this week.

Version 237 is for the RFXtrx433E, will there also be an update for the RFXtrx433? I'm now on firmware 83 and although some people are able to receive the "Action" doorbell (SelectPlus200689103), I cannot get it to work.
So, I'm hoping that also the RFXtrx433 will be updated
.

Hi,
I have just got a cheap SelectPlus 200689101 door chime from Action store (5€).
It does not work with RFX Type 1 v.84 firmware. But it works with
RFX Type 2 v. 184 and Domoticz 2.2284!
Thanks for all the guidance in this thread !

The Quhwa - SelectPlus, 1Byone Easy Chimes are supported by Type2 and Ext firmware.
See chapter 2 in the RFXtrx User Guide
