I have not tried it but I am afraid there not usable anymore unfortunately im unable to test is as the unit is build in my door opening system and hard to take out

After this mod the pins in the relay are without power and it can now switch low voltage without issue
I have placed some tape on the first 3 connectors so using them is not possible anymore.

Is there any way to power it on 12VDC? I've tried it as you wrote and I think I've smoked it :/ There's no other way than reducing power to 5VDC?

I haven’t found it unfortunately
Have measured multiple points but haven’t found other than 5v and 3.3v if i remember correctly
Sucks that you might have smoked it
Hope it’s not that damaged

Earlier I've run some test with 9V 6LR61 battery and it looked like it works fine (the led light had blue color). But it comes out that 12V is too much. I'm wondering how long it will run on this 9V battery.

9v is already a bit much
As the two wires are solders to the pins of a capacator as these where the easiest to reach.
I can’t remember the rating of it, it’s written on there.
If the voltage is to high it will pop ( as it might have done allready with the smoke )
But as the rest of the system doesn’t drain much power I guess I can run for months on a 9v battery
I have a second one somewhere in a box not in use at the moment.
If I don’t forget I’ll have a look at it tomorrow
But for now I’m of to bed
as its midnight in the Netherlands

Hello to everyone from Croatia.
I have stumble upon this site since I need to relay output triggered from Xiaomi MI home app.
I use Xiaomi Smart hub and basically the idea is to power llkzmk11lm module via 5VDC as you did. only thing I do not know iz does the coil from relay works with 5VDC?

I know working voltage is 240VAC but I mostly referred because of post below. As i could see @tcarnal has bypass VAC input and powered directly from 5VDC. My onlz concerne is will coil from relaz work?

This could be a good candidate. The relay seems to be potential free.
