Still small problem.

The driver package doesn't install. No drivers for 5.1

Any ideas?

FYI: im still on DSM 5.0. You may try the "quick fix" on the last page from the official topic from the ftdi drivers also mentioned by Rembo.
Probably DSM 5.1 is also the reason from not starting package on your system.

Not starting was solved by uninstall and reinstall. I had an older version still installed and upgraded, this caused probably the issue. Domoticz now running, hoeray! Now trying to add usb drivers.

Update: installed the Domoticz package, and the USB drivers for DSM5.1

However, in Domoticz is says "Error: RFXCOM: Error opening serial port!"

What's wrong? Is it "plug and play" the package connected with the drivers? Does it for example matter in which USB port I connect my RFXCOM? Should I configure some more? I am so close!

Succeeded in installing Domoticz on a DS410J with DSM 5.0-4493 Update 3
I'm using it with a RFXTrx433E tranceiver.

I used to have the same error message as yours until I installed the spk below

After installing this package, the RFXTrx433E worked correctly.

Maybe these drivers would help you.

I am running DSM 5.1 so I need UsbSerialDrivers_3.0.0.spk, it sounds like a issue in this version for 5.1. Anyone with DSM5.1 who got it running?

Prompt please, whether there is a complete package for the Synology DS-214Play? And whether a package for installation on Qnap TS-119 arm5?
I have installed packages Openremote and SynoZwave (on Synology), and Openremote (on Qnap), with Z-Wave stick AeonLab S2 and Z-wave devices. All packages are working. Would like to try Domoticz, but do not really understand how to do it. In compiling and Linux is not strong. Maybe there is a ready-made bags, or someone will do it.

To have a completely working domoticz whatever synology you use.
I strongly advice using a debian chroot. With this i have domoticz running since 5 months. With all update and all functions.

It takes some couple hours to configure the debian but it worths it as once it is done you can do whatever you want and you are not anymore spk dependant or else.

I guarantee you everyone. This really worths it.

@sarakha63: i love to get debian chroot fully functional, however some Synology cpu's aren't fully supported by debian chroot. I previously tried multiple times but at least qoriq cpu is not and probably will never get full supported. apt-get isnt even functional. So for my Synology DS213+ the package for spksrc adapted by Jorik is heavily appreciated. For me its the only way to have Domoticz working on Syno.

Have you managed to solve this? For my 213+ on DSM5.0 its just plug and play. Will only upgrade to DSM5.1 when Domoticz will not fail

Can anyone tell whether there is a package Domoticz for Synology ds214play or ds3612? Or explain step by step how to properly install. All drivers have been installed, as set SynoZwave package.
Help please.
