If you only need updated Config-files, it may be possible to replace domoticz/Config by the new files that you can download from https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave

I had the issue a Neo Coolcam PIR was not recognized by Domoticz/OpenZwave. I downloaded the source files from github and replaced the Config directory from Domoticz with the config-directory from github. After excluding and including the device, it is recognized properly.

Maybe a dirty hack, but it seems to work so far...

I'm running Domoticz on a Fedora 26 machine. OpenZwave is included in the Fedora distribution. Fedora just updated it from 1.4.164-1.fc26 to 1.5.0-0.20170724gitde1c0e6.fc26.

I've had to put back the 1.4.164 openzwave package in my fc26 repo in order to keep domoticz building.

This is the build result with openzwave 1.5:
https://build.opensuse.org/package/live ... ide/x86_64

I'm willing to test patches, etc.

Interesting it's now 2018 and the latest Domoticz Beta 4.10228 is still running OpenZwave Version 1.4*

v1.5 was released in 2016

I followed all the part "Installing from Source"

Update:

After the cloning of the git repository you have to enter in the folder and change the git branch with the comand: git checkout Dev
At this point, if you make openzwave you'll have the 1.5 version.
Now the problem is that I have an error compiling the file Driver.o
Thank you for sharing this.

Who knows, 1.5 might solve some issues, like dropping some nodes from the network.
