I'm not sure if you are asking if Domoticz updates faster than the Xiaomi gateway? As that would be impossible since they go through Zigbee to the gateway first, then onto WiFi to my Domoticz server. In practice Domoticz is updated almost instantly.

At about $10-15 for a battery powered motion sensor, it is cheaper and smaller than the motion sensors I've made.

I want to add in the Xiaomi switches as well, but they are not on/off switches like a wall light switch, they are toggle switches and I'm not sure how to set them up. Is there any similar switches already working with Domoticz?

I live in Australia, where the plug works with Chinese plug but just upside down.

I don't think there is an EU plug for the current range. Maybe this old model had it though http://www.gearbest.com/cables-connecto ... 68522.html

Also, I don't know if there is a way to control the smart plug as yet, maybe only read the status. I hope it can be controlled of course and will try when my plugs arrive.

as i already says to derick who doesn't read my answer, aliexpress sellers ask you which plug adapter you need if you don't ask it on order, and send it for free. if you need to buy one : http://www.gearbest.com/plugs-sockets/p ... d=10117050 is perfect and cheap

If they are on a real zigbee that a good news, because they can be use as zigbee network relay to extend range.

One question stay : How many device gateway can accept ?
On my case i need more than 23 devices (pir/temp/door sensor) + 20 switchs + 20 wallplug to remove all or meanly of my 433mhz devices.

Have you put ability to add 2 or 3 gateway if one can't support more than 20 as i read on a french home automation forum ?

Any way to drive gateway build in led ?

Haha!

I wouldn't run the plug through an adapter though, makes it a bit bulky.

Not sure about the device limit, if you hit it I will try to make it work with 2 or 3 gateways (it might already work just needs to be tested)

Will look into controlling the gateway LED.

It's a really cheap IR blaster http://xiaomi-mi.com/smart-home/xiaomi- ... ol-center/
