HI,

I think someone already post a question. I have on new temperature sensor ordered from gearbest, cube shape, with additional pressure sensor. Can someone confirm that he had in domoticz sensor registered or we need to wait for update on code. Problem with android is resolved I can add sensor via Mi Home app.

Thanks

Is it possible to turn on/off the Gateway's radio and switch it's channels from Domoticz?

My current doorbell (some Siemens junk) keeps failing, so I'd like to get a wireless button that is weather proof which I can integrate with Domoticz to trigger the Xiaomi gateways :D
At the risk of talking to myself - I have now found a solution for this :)

I took a spare Xiaomi door sensor, pulled it apart and wired a push button between GND and D0 pins, then fitted it all inside my old doorbell pusher casing.
Now I have a Xiaomi smart doorbell :D - The gateway rings when the doorbell is pushed (using a bit of blocky in Domoticz).

However, I've noticed that once the tune has finished playing on the gateway, the state of the 'Xiaomi Smart Gateway Doorbell' (the one where you pick a sound) does not go back to 'Off' state in Domoticz - is this normal?
Hmmmm.....I stopped reading this topic a few weeks ago and I'm trying to get up-to-date again when I saw this.

I have a ZWave module behind my wall-push-switch and I'm trying to get rid of all ZWave devices (too expensive, not so reliable as I hoped, etc.). If I do the same with a door switch and put it behind my wall switch (which I don't want to alter), I should get the same results as with the ZWave module right? I'm using it as a kill-switch, so just a simpel ON or OFF signal is OK. Am I right? Someone who has the same setup / idea ?

I would expect an error to be displayed between these two lines:

Code: Select all

2017-07-07 22:21:59.674 XiaomiGateway: Using 192.168.2.3 for local IP address.
2017-07-07 22:22:00.675 XiaomiGateway: stopped
Perhaps the network configuration OSMC is causing an issue? I currently have the ability to test this but should be able to once my Raspberry Pi Zero arrives.
Question about the Xiaomi Gateway in Domoticz? Please check the Wiki first: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Xiaomi_Gateway_(Aqara)

Hi there,

Just trying to get Domoticz to switch on LED of Xiaomi Gateway when humidity level is higher than something - so that I can turn on my manual dehumidifier - it's middle of winter here in Auckland and humidity is getting quite high inside.

The problem is that current state of humidity in Events shows number 1, 2, 3, etc instead of actual humidity level. Dashboards and graphs use proper humidity level. Current state of Temp + Hum shows proper numbers but I can't have humidity only of there.

Do you guys have an idea how I could get proper humidity level to use in events? I saw that another guy had the same problem earlier but no one replied.

I'm on Domoticz v3.8034.

Thanks a lot!

Did you found out how to do that?
because my cube ( proud owner since 1 day) goes to alert all the time. looks like a resting stage.
I also have an issue with swing, didn't work for me.
also I cannot tap on it, I have to lift the cube and then tap twice on the table.

Hi to all,
sometimes all my xiaomi temperature sensors report a strange peak of 100°C and after some minutes turn back to normal.
There's a way for delete this peaks?

Hello.

I'm looking for advice.

I want to use different led colors on gateway for example:

dark yellow at night
blinking red when - fire, flood etc
blinking yellow when someone is using door bell etc.

Right now when I set yellow color on gateway it is not saving this value. Every time when I turn on gateway via domoticz I got green light.

Was any of you able to set custom lights and assign them to actions?

Hi n01knows,

If everything went ok you have got a device Xiaomi RGB Gateway in your device list
By setting the necessary values in a script depending on the different states you must be able to accomplish what you want.
Please share you code then i hopefully can give some more clues how you can achieve your goals

Best regards

Got latest stable Domoticz V3.5877 and I can't find Xiaomi on the list of the devices to add. It should be there? Right?
