I need that as well, or can I use the DSM 6.2 package? (xpenology, ds3615xs)
Same setup)
I've really stopped building domoticz beta for DSM 6.1, but I can make an exception
Take a look for arch-bromolow I think that is for DS3615xs? in Domoticz Beta for DSM 6.1 menu at
http://www.jadahl.com
Uploaded now..
By the way does it include python?

If you install the python plugin version, you have to install python 3.xx first or domoticz don't run.
https://archive.synology.com/download/P ... 1-0108.spk
You find domoticz with python support in the python folder:

As always, you're the best!
Maybe you also know how to make the python module "bluepy" work? I can't install it on my NAS for about 2 days already)

Sorry, I do not use Python plugins myself, so I'm not familiar with bluepy...

The plugins folder is located in /usr/local/domoticz/var/plugins on synology!
After you have installed a plugin.py you have to restart (stop/start) domoticz in Package Center to activate your plugins.
You have to install GIT package on your NAS if you want to use git clone..
Telnet into your NAS and go to folder /usr/local/domoticz/var/plugins
admin@DS3617xs:/usr/local/domoticz/var/plugins$
sudo git clone https://github.com/dnpwwo/Domoticz-Glob ... Plugin.git

Hi Jumbotroll, thanks !
I did add the GIT package.
I've logged using Putty (SSH).
Changed directory to the var/Plugins.
After i've tried your Clone git command, i'm receiving sudo, git, command not known.
I'm logged in as admin.
Any hint or idea ?
Thanks.

Did you install GIT from synocommunity or GIT server?
You can also download GIT for bromolow here:
http://www.jadahl.com/synospk/
If it's sudo that fails..
Try
sudo -i
or did you test with Telnet?

Thanks,
I did installed the GIT package, original Synology.
First attempt via SSH.
Tried now Telnet.
Tried Sudo -i also.
Same "git command not found".
Concerning your download link,
shouldn't it be Broadwell ? I'm on a DS3617xs.
Directory shows up as blue.
Rights issue ?
Thanks sir,

Is it sudo that fails or git?
Try only to type
sudo and enter...
If all fail, you can always download the Domoticz-GlobalCache-Plugin folder and copy it into the var/plugin folder.
RS3617xs is bromolow,,Sorry DS3617xs is broadwell,
I will compile and upload the broadwell version:

Thanks man,
Installed and rebooted the NAS.
Plugin now found under Hardware.
Configured with MAC adress and found as i can see in log. the GC100's IP is correctly found aswell.
But fails after some pings, no data received, log mentions 'wrong GC100'
Nothing under devices, can't link to switch.
Any idea where to look for ?
I'll give it another try lateron.
Cheers.

I don't use this plugin, so try to create a post in the forum.
Did you accept new hardware devices for 5 min in settings?
Don't think this is a synology problem, but maybe a plugin problem?

Hello Jumbotroll,
First of all thank you for your work on this project, I have been running your USBSerial drivers on my DS1815+ (Avoton) for the past year - it's worked flawlessly with my HUSBZB-1 usb stick.
I just upgraded to a DS1819+ (Denverton) and I cannot get the USBSerial drivers working. I've tried both the latest standalone drivers and the latest Domoticz (12/23/18) packages:
http://www.jadahl.com/drivers/DSM_6.2/U ... .2_6-2.spk
- and -
http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_beta_6.2 ... 0302-8.spk
The DS1819+ is running Kernel
4.4.59+ #23824 SMP PREEMPT Tue Dec 25 18:27:58 CST 2018 x86_64 GNU/Linux synology_denverton_1819+. I believe the modules are compiled for kernel 4.5.59 and are not loading with my devices 4.5.59+ kernel
I am seeing the following when I run
dmesg
Code: Select all
[ 1452.478726] usbserial: version magic '4.4.59 SMP preempt mod_unload ' should be '4.4.59+ SMP preempt mod_unload '
[ 1452.490790] ftdi_sio: version magic '4.4.59 SMP preempt mod_unload ' should be '4.4.59+ SMP preempt mod_unload '

[ 1452.522604] pl2303: version magic '4.4.59 SMP preempt mod_unload ' should be '4.4.59+ SMP preempt mod_unload '
[ 1452.533779] ch341: version magic '4.4.59 SMP preempt mod_unload ' should be '4.4.59+ SMP preempt mod_unload '
[ 1452.544858] ti_usb_3410_5052: version magic '4.4.59 SMP preempt mod_unload ' should be '4.4.59+ SMP preempt mod_unload '
The /dev/ttyusb01 device never gets created, and I do not see all of the modules loaded when I run a
lsmod
Any help you can offer would be truly appreciated!!!

Ok, I will compile new packages for arch-denverton DSM 6.2 with driver/kernel fix.
Please do not install UsbSerialDrivers package if you install my domoticz package, the domoticz package includes drivers and there may be conflicts.

Thank you Jumbotroll!!! This updated driver worked. One quick note (not sure if it effects anything) all of the modules looked good when I ran
dmesg after installing, but it looks like the
usbserial driver has a version mismatch :
Code: Select all
51.110995] usbserial: USB Serial support registered for FTDI USB Serial Device
[ 51.283003] usbserial: version magic '4.4.59 SMP preempt mod_unload ' should be '4.4.59+ SMP preempt mod_unload '
[ 51.378012] cp210x: module verification failed: signature and/or required key missing - tainting kernel
[ 51.392286] usbcore: registered new interface driver cp210x
[ 51.412682] usbserial: USB Serial support registered for cp210x
[ 51.430006] cp210x 1-2.1:1.0: cp210x converter detected
[ 51.459660] usb 1-2.1: cp210x converter now attached to ttyUSB0
[ 51.482656] cp210x 1-2.1:1.1: cp210x converter detected

[ 51.606224] usbcore: registered new interface driver pl2303

Everything is working, so not sure if this matters! Thanks again for your quick response!

Maybe you have an old usbserial driver still installed.
Check if you have an old usbserial.ko in folder /lib/modules/

Yes - it looks like the usbserial.ko file in /lib/modules is dated 10/26 (like all of the other modules in that folder). Should I delete or replace that file?

You can rename that file to ex. usbserial.old or you can test my latest build and I think it will be ignored
