Look to the hex code by id in the device list

But the code doesn't match any of the other devices. Example: 3FBBDA6D on voltage and DF25 on humidity, temp, humidity/temp.

EDIT: Ahh... now I get it. The new voltages showing up was for my 4 switches and 1 motion sensor, not the 5 temperature sensors. Now I could identify the hex codes.

Perhaps a bit OT, but what's the deal with the tape that comes with the buttons, temp and motion sensors? Are they just extras if original wears out? If so, shouldnt the tape be double sided? Or are you supposed to use the sticker in the package together with the sticker attached to the device?

Also, my motion sensor has no preattached double sided tape but a small circular patch comes with in the package. But this one is not double sided, so what's the intention here? :S

They are all double side tape, they come as a second part if you need to change them.

I'm having a problem on Domoticz Beta (latest version V3.7450 but also previous last was the same)

Until yesterday everything was ok, but today after restarting the raspberry3 on which domoticz is running, I cannot connect anymore to xiaomy gateway

Image

and if I go to hardware page, I can't see all parameters of gateway,
IP address, port and password fields aren't visible anymore !

Image

In another instance I'm running, again on a rasp3, I don't have same problem
connection is fine and I can see all parameters under hardware page !!

Image

what's the matter ? the two systems are almost identical

pls help :roll:

No, there's only adhesive on one side. Have you checked?

And did your motion sensor come with double sided tape? This is how mine looks: Image

sorry for my ignorance, but what does this hack do?
the door sensor works with magnetism.
you get an alarm/massage when someone ring your doorbell.....

Regarding smoke sensor here what I got in Domoticz logs:

Code: Select all

2017-05-16 20:51:43.558 XiaomiGateway: unhandled model: smoke
2017-05-16 20:51:43.559 {"cmd":"report","model":"smoke","sid":"158d0001538a9e","short_id":31763,"data":"{\"density\":\"0\"}"}
2017-05-16 20:51:43.583 XiaomiGateway: unhandled model: smoke
2017-05-16 20:51:43.583 {"cmd":"heartbeat","model":"smoke","sid":"158d0001538a9e","short_id":31763,"data":"{\"voltage\":3265}"}
If it can help to integrate into Domoticz.

I've added the smoke detector to https://github.com/corbinmunce/domoticz, are you able to compile and test?

Sorry for annoying you again on that point, but could anyone let me know whether the MP3, Alarm Clock, Alarm Ringtone, Door ringtone, RGB and gateway volume are wrking with beta 3.7450?
I have try to remove them and set them back, but there is still no communication from Domoticz to these fonctions on the gateway. But, in another hand, if I am setting the RGB with the Xiaomi apps, I have the status back on Domoticz (only the case with RGB).
Any idea where it can come from in case it is supposed to work?

All gateway sounds are working through Domoticz on my setup.

Check that your gateway IP has not changed, and also double check the password - I think it did once reset on me accidentally.

Hi,
Sorry I don't know if it's Xiaomi related or a more general question about domoticz:
why do I get that message "no temperature sensors founded or added in the system…" quickly displayed in the footer of this webpage: https://i.imgur.com/nebpvLz.png ?

I have other sensor (door sensor and PIR) that are working perfectly. So I guess the communication is correct... I am gonna make some other checks.
