This uses the homekit integration in HomeAssistant, does everything local, No internet needed.. So no whorries about #queries....
But the mqtt topic/messages are published to a separte MQTT broker. The messages are getting into MQTT, but DZ does not import new devices.
So could this be a MQTT-AD issue in DZ?
I've created automations in HA, they are working. But I would love to see this work again in DZ too.

Re: Tado Thermostat plugin
No option, cause no Apple.
20000 requests a day seems sufficient for me (90 secsonds interval). I just need to fix the time error, which should no be that hard I think. Compiling Domoticz works already, so far so good.

Re: Tado Thermostat plugin
I do not own any Apple device...
Just reset the bridge... put it in pairing mode, HA homekit add on will detect it... insert the pairing code from the bridge into HA, all devices will be found and added in HA .... it is that simple
I did end my TADO account and removed the app from my phone, my next payment was due today... Also restricted all *.tado domains from my network using PiHole...

Re: Tado Thermostat plugin
Good for you. Not the way I will go. I want to keep it simple and use 1 tool as far as possible.
And so far Tado works fine.

Re: Tado Thermostat plugin
I moved the discussion about the Tado local REST API application with the addition python plugin to a new topic: viewtopic.php?t=44119rhuijben wrote: Wednesday 05 November 2025 8:26 Resetting the V3 bridge is pressing the small reset button on the back. (Not a long press of the pairing button on the front as I endlessly tried). It will stay connected to the cloud, but you can then reconnect homekit with the printed info.
Keep this topic for the original build in Tado integration.
