Hello BakSeeDaa,

thank you for this application in Domoticz. I have been using it al summer at our soccerclub for the climatcontrol. But last week it suddenly started to mess up. I made a fresh install, but no luck. I'm on the latest beta of Domoticz, but I don't know when things went wrong.
Perhaps can you help me.

Thanks to BakSeeDaa I've managed to create a carheater script where you can trigger the carheater from google cal.

It takes the outside temperature as a parameter and calculates when the carheater needs to be turned on so the car is ready on the time you have set in google cal.

Hi looks great been looking for a car heater script for Domoticz so will try this when I have installed a switch in the garage to control the outlet on the garage wall. Is it possible to run the script on Domoticz on windows or is it required to run on a raspberry pi? Today I replaced my Raspberry Pi with a new one and finally I got it all up and running. But unfortunately the script that checks my Google-calendar returns an error. I just can´t figure out what is wrong. Could anyone please try to help me?

My calendar haven´t made an update since 11th september, and I can´t think of anything that I have done, other than updating domoticz a couple of times.

I have now found out that we are not alone with the problem..
The original author of the script has a thread on this forum:

And they have noticed the same, and "Stuart" have come up with a solution.
I have tried to check what the difference is between the files and tried to merge them to this project, but I gave up for now, will give it a little more time when I have more motivation.

Hello again, or am I just talking to myself?

I did try it out yesterday, but failed.
I got a couple of fail messages that I had to resolve, but now when I initiate the switch, nothing happens, not a word in the log, nothing.

I have tried to compare both Stuarts files, and the latest gcal3 file from BakSeeDaa and tried to merge them together, but as I said before, lua/scripting isn´t really my strong side.
Anyone else that can check it out or help me/us in the right direction?

You can use "https://www.diffnow.com/" and compare both new and old file in that and see the differencies.
But I can add them here as well.

Because my log says V1.0.3 and your log says V1.0.2.
And you also have the same fail log/message as before.

"script_device_gcal.lua" is the only file that I have changed, in my post from before I have made it to a .rar archive because this forum don´t accept ".lua" files to be attached.
So you need to extract it with winrar or similar, I guess you knew that?

You can, if you like to, download it from my server, in "raw" form that you don´t need to extract.

You can then open the file with notepad++ and look at line 20-24 it should say.
