I tried to follow instructions but I'm already stuck at the first part. I downloaded the app from the Play Store but the app does not see my Xiaomi Gateway. How do I pair with the gateway ?

Edit: you need to set region to China Mainland in the app, otherwise it won't pair. Fixed it.

Hello,

Thanks for the good work on the hardware device dev, looks very interesting.
Unfortunately, when I tried to enable developper mode on xiaomi Gateway, the first (chinese) option on the about page doesn't work, it said (in chinesse) "当前设备不支持此功能" > "Not available on your hardware" (thanks google trad :) )

Do you have any idea how to enable dev mode and get password ?

Does your gateway support radio stations (Chinese), and uploading mp3 files?

Also, make sure you have set your region to Mainland China.

Yes I would like to have this feature, but have so far not seen it reported from the gateway. Supposed to be this:

Code: Select all

{"cmd":"heartbeat","model":"plug","sid":"112316","short_id":4343,"data":"{\" load_voltage \":\" 234300 \"}" , \" load_power \":\"9.57\", \" power_consumed \":\"0.57\"}"}

Temperature and huminidy sensors works. Power socket control works. Big thanks.
But still something wrong with notifications. After sending control command to the power socket futher notifications (any of them, including e-mail) failed.
Notifications may be fixed, I've put a pull request in.

Hello,

I see battery charge status (100%) for temperature sensors (in splitted mode). Can you copy this info for humidity sensor (also splitted) and combined temp/hum sensor. All 3 of them have same sensor id (address).
And can we get battery status for other wireless sensors (door, motion) as well as for temp/hum?

I've hard coded the 100% battery level in (so do not believe this to be the accurate battery level), and have not yet seen the battery level reported from the Gateway for any sensors.

If it does get reported, you might see it in the Domoticz log - and if you do, please let me know.

If it does get reported, I will add it in!

Hello,

Yes I think these are the right values.

After that, you have to understand how to interpret them ...

Load voltage 234300 seems to be 234 Volts? The tension.

Load power seems to be the instant power and power_consumed power consumed in KW maybe for the day ?

But the problem is I have yet to see this message reported, so I cannot act upon it.

I'm going from the documentation on this page - https://translate.google.com/translate? ... edit-text=

That link doesn't go direct, but if you click on "Intelligent socket" you will see the page.

Just received my gateway yesterday, set Mainland China and setup all the devices (mainly switch)
I don't see option for radio or uploading MP3 files, I guess I get a gateway V1 :(
V1 doesn't support Dev mode ?

From Mi Home, can you go Gateway -> Device (from top menu) -> Gateway, then see options for Ringtone Settings and Radio?

Have you chosen Mainland China as your local?
Sorry, you said you have. But I think you have been very unlucky to receive a v1 gateway at this time - I ordered mine a few months ago and it is at least v2.

updated git and now notification back to work! thanks for the effort corbin!

I have noticed that the Switch Does report single, double and Long press (Pressed and released events)
altough it doesnt appear in Device tab like the other XIOAMI devices.
does this exposed in one the switch type as well?

Code: Select all

Yes these events are reported by the gateway, but I don't know what to translate them to in Domoticz. Have you a suggestion?
