I tried reading this thread but it is so many pages.
What kind of adapter is needed to be able to use the gateway in EU ?
The cube, as it has six sides can I assign tasks to every side? like if I mark it out as a dice can I turn different lights on using all six sides?
How long would the wireless Xiaomi Aqara switch battery last?

Au of Chinese to eu
Six sides: nope, doesn't work like that. It can detect a 90 degree flip, 180 degree, free fall (throw in the air), shake, a (violent) knock, a turn (great for dimmer functions) and a move (push over table for example)
So you need to make a script that act on the different states, I have made a script that use the 90 and 180 degree for light group selection, kodi control and Sonos control)
The turn is used for dimmer/volume, shake for random color selection of the hue lights, hard knock for turn of/turn on the selected device.
Move and free fall I don't know yet.
How long it lasts? Guess it's too early to tell yet, the switches are only available since late last year, xiaomi expects 2 years.

After restarting the domoticz, the devices are duplicated. Motion sensor (switch) - do not work. Appear CustomSwitch.
It is necessary to remove the old switch device and add new CustomSwitch - they will work.
If restart Domotics, you need to do all over again.

The devices need to be Switch, not CustomSwitch. like this:

I'm not sure what is causing the duplication, it happened on my test system but then I couldn't reproduce it. Starting with a totally clean database fixed the problem.

I deleted the gateway from domoticz and re-added. Turned off and then turned on the developer mode. Changed the password. This only happens with Xiaomi Motion Sensors.

Deleting the gateway didn't work for me. I had to totally delete the database and start fresh, like in a new install.

Now the devices (Xiaomi Motion Sensor) are not duplicated after reboot domoticz
I did:
1. rm -r domoticz/
2. git clone
https://github.com/corbinmunce/domoticz
3. restore database
v3.7119

Hi All,
I am new here and I discovered Domoticz while looking for resources about the Xiaomi Gateway.
After some attempts I managed to install the Windows server (latest beta available now), connect to the Xiaomi Gateway and run the Android Domoticz 2.0 app.
I am now struggling to get notifications work: I can send (from the web interface) a manual notification to my Android device, but any notification I setup under the Xiaomi Plug, Click Button or Door Sensor is not sent at all. I can't see in the log (the one available via the web interface) any message about the attempt to send the notification.
Any idea?
Thanks!
