Another test you can make is to backup your database and reinstall your Domoticz.

Seems that your installation has some problems..

mmm did install last weekend a clean and new setup on a new RpiB+...
So i think.... there is something else wrong..:-)?

I think 3.4.4 is ok.

I have installed a lot of raspberry pies with domoticz and various plugins over the time. It's quite straight forward (except from raspbian stretch that requires libssl to start domoticz).

If you have reinstalled your domoticz and don't work from the very beginning, then sorry but, you are doing something wrong

How can i check or install?

Is it possible to use multiple python versions @ the same time?

sorry I meant "stretch", the latest version not "Jessie".

Did you installed libssl in order to start Domoticz? Is it starting automatically?

I run:
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo apt-get install python3
Pakketlijsten worden ingelezen... Klaar
Boom van vereisten wordt opgebouwd
De statusinformatie wordt gelezen... Klaar
python3 is reeds de nieuwste versie (3.5.3-1).

Perhaps the 3.4.4 is to old?

This running on my pi:

Code: Select all

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ python --version
Python 2.7.13
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ python3 --version
Python 3.5.3

at Domoticz check the log (Setup/Log/Status) You should see

Code: Select all

 PluginSystem: Started, Python version '3.4.4'.
if not or different version number (3.5.5)

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get remove python 3.5
it should did the trick

Another nice theme:

Time to dust-of the idea of letting this plugin install themes too?

@ycahome: great work. Just followed the Wiki and everything works fine!

Would really love to see the Ziggo Mediabox XL plugin in the PP manager, and also the Bose Libsoundtouch (https://github.com/CharlesBlonde/libsoundtouch)

Follow the wiki and my domoticz hangs after a few sec after restart.

New install of domoticz
Install php;msq etc
install domoticz
Folow the wiki to install PP MAnager
remove python 3.5 and install 3.4

Go to hardware select give it a name and click add at the botom.
Restart domoticz sudo sytemctl restart ......
take a long time to restart all devices are gone, log is blanc and domoticz freeze

Made a second attempt reflashd lite and start all over
just the same problems
But now i managed to get buienradar install but again domoticz hangs but i got a log

domticz restart
domoticz hangs
remove plugin
everything works again

What do i wrong?
install a plugin manual works

I can see the very same error message very often in the logs:
2018-10-27 09:56:02.271 Error: Python Plugin Manager hardware (10) thread seems to have ended unexpectedly
2018-10-27 09:56:16.276 Error: Python Plugin Manager hardware (10) thread seems to have ended unexpectedly

Everything seems to work well, but I'm wondering if this is an error we should be worried about?

Read the very first post for usage:
"Auto Update" Options (After every change press "Update")

"All": Continuously update all plugins

"Selected":Continuously update selected plugin (You should first select desired plugin from "Domoticz Plugin" field)

"All (NotifyOnly)": Check all plugins for updates and generate notification email.

zigbee2mqqt plugin just added.

In order to add plugin to PP Manager you should raise a "Pull Request" on github

TO CONTRIBUTE YOUR PLUGINS:
In order to add your plugins to PP-Manager, make a "pull request" with your lines added:

Under 'label="Domoticz Plugin"' in alphabetical order by 'label' and

Under 'self.plugindata' in alphabetical order by 'pluginText'
