spanish : Wrong translation

Post by juankar »

I have a Qubino thermostat and when you edit the temperature for switching ON/OFF Domoticz shows a window with two arrows (UP/DOWN) and a button to apply the value of temperature. Thats OK. But in spanish the button label says "conjunto" (the meaning of this word is a group of things) a better translation would be "aplicar"

Thanks

I was said that this is the forum where I must send the asking for correction in translation. Is it right?

Thanks

I visited transifex system and I can find any way to ask for a correction. I repeat: I just want to notify about an error in ONE word from english into spanish. ONE word no more than ONE word.
Recently I made a contribution to Domoticz that needed new words and I didn't need to go to transifex.

Thanks

Okey, let me try to explain this again....

We use the transifex system for all the translations.
There is one English master file, all other translations are based on this.

We have a great group of people doing translation

https://www.transifex.com/domoticz/domoticz/dashboard/

If you find a problem with the translation, you have to send a message, on transifex, to the maintainer of that language.

Or you can request, on transifex, to be a translator of that language as well.

Also remember, that you 'request' a change, and that the maintainer could not agree with it

A bit burocratic this question ;(
Then I must find the spanish translator: Gizmocuz is the boss of spanish translator team, so I send you, Gizmocuz, my question could it be possilbe to change the translation of the word set from "conjunto" into "aplicar", conjunto in spanish is a group of items, it's not a verb.
Or who is the author of translation? In transifex dashboard there is no way to find the author of trnaslation or any way to ask or send a question and I don't nedd (nor want) to register in this platform. I think it's not necessary for a simple change of just ONE WORD no more than ONE word.
Thanks

Why don't you request to join the Spanish translation team... the boss (not only me) will accept you, and you can translate on transifex
