RFXCOM not detected as /dev/ttyUSB0

RFXCOM not detected as /dev/ttyUSB0

hi all
i try to setup a Rfxcom on a ubuntu machine
Rfxcom is setuped with rfxmanager on a win machine ok

but
when i plug RFXCom a my ubuntu machine
it not seen as /dev/ttyusb0 device
i can see the following in Dmesg :

the device is not seen as a /dev/ttyUSB0 ...
is there something to install as drivers etc??
any help will be welcome

Ubuntu virtalised in vmware?
Rasp Pi 2B: 3x DS18S20 (1-wire), BME280 (i2c)
Cubietruck 1: Aeotec Z-Wave+, RFXtrx433XL+P1, RFXtrx868, TE923 display, SolarEdge API
Cubietruck 2: Aeotec Z-Wave, Voltcraft CO-20

yes but the same on raspberry pi with raspbian

I have used the RFXCom on raspberry pi since the start of Domoticz.
Try using the prepared sd card img.
Rasp Pi 2B: 3x DS18S20 (1-wire), BME280 (i2c)
Cubietruck 1: Aeotec Z-Wave+, RFXtrx433XL+P1, RFXtrx868, TE923 display, SolarEdge API
Cubietruck 2: Aeotec Z-Wave, Voltcraft CO-20
