Cheap chinese z-wave products
Hi folks,
I've stumbled upon this one yesterday while surfing on Aliexpress: http://www.szneo.com/en/products/index.php?id=38
At first, it looks like... well, Fibaro? The specs are fine, I found them on Z-Wave Alliance website as well. And their prices are more than charming.
To make it better: there are other chinese oem manufacturers trying to sell their products on Ali - have a search on them.

Re: Chinese z-wave products up and running
Is it supported by openzwave?
Anyway made my day
Let the flood of chineese-cheap zwave begin
http://nl.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catI ... z-wave+neo
If you order the neo power plug order the NAS-WR01ZE with Z for z-wave in the typenumber, NOT NAS-WR01T, REPEAT NOT NAS-WR01T And TELL the seller this and the region/frequency... NAS-WR01ZE is europe, this also hold for ANY other sensor from neo their selling two different technologies in the same packages on the same frequency....

Re: Chinese z-wave products up and running
Well they explicitly tell on their review, that it's compatible with Fibaro. And if you take a closer look on the design... Anyway, I'm not saying that it's a 100% Fibaro replica, but the design marks are very close to theirs.remb0 wrote:Wow!! half of the Dutch prices. But exactly the same as fibaro? The other store I found is http://www.aliexpress.com/store/1294858Derik wrote:please a link or the search-term..

They also have at least a door sensor and a smart plug. Note: I've ordered a door sensor 1,5 weeks ago and waiting to be delivered.
I'm pretty sure there are other stores and manufacturers as well, but our chinese friends are tricky when describing their products. Smart home, z-wave, wireless are more or less the same for them, so you have to read and inspect every single item
Re: Chinese z-wave products up and running
Yeah. I already seen: 433Mhz advertised as zwave.
Anyway how do you know those neo work with openzwave?
Cuz I looked but I could not find any config for the neo.

Check out this link:
http://www.pepper1.net/zwavedb/?sort=na ... ric_class=
All devices are mentioned there, so it is indeed z-wave.
I have not looked at OZW, but if it is not in there you might be able to add it.
