Slimme meter question

Hi,

Can someone please tell me how I can add my slimme meter into domoticz? because within a few weeks I get a new meter this one is going to replace my old analogue meter.
I don't have my domoticz device in the same room where my meter is.
Do I need specific hardware? if so where can I buy this.

Jur,

I installed a Raspberry PI next to my smartmeter. Connected it with a slimmemeterkabel(google) and followed instructions on the Domoticz wiki and forum.

I had an extra Raspberry. Installed Domoticz with the P1 connected.
Used that extra Domoticz as a slave for my "Main" domoticz.

The slimme meter cable is an usb cable that has to be connected to a rpi. My Domoticz is on a rpi that is located near my electro / gas meter in my hallway. The cable is about 1 meter in length so it has to be near the meter

I use a Nport 5110 serial to lan converter. Its very simple, no additional hardware needed.
