That's weird! Can you also see why in the Play Store?
http://lifehacker.com/google-play-shows ... -496328577

Unfortunately no, there's no further info given. One other app, TPLINK Camera has the same problem. I think in the past I used the app Market Helper to allow me to bypass this.

On an unrelated note, I see the latest version has notifications installed, does that mean we can activate events? Right now my wall mounted tablet is always on. It would be nice if it would only turn on the screen when the motion detector signals that there's someone in the room. Like an IFTT script for the app ? Thanks.

EDIT:

Both apps no longer have the incompatiblity message! When I ran Market Helper app, it failed to work. Super User app said it needed to be updated, I did that and rebooted and now the issue is fixed.

Replying to myself, but hopefully this helps others.

I was able to get Notifications working by installing a free app called Glimpse. It wakes the screen on a notification. The nice thing is if you dont have a lock screen it'll just turn on the display, so if you have a background with dynamic widgets and surveillance cameras, its all visible.

Originally, I installed the app but thought it wasn't working because I forgot to give it notification access under the Android Settings->Notifications->App access list.

This Domoticz app is amazing now, motion detectors will tell the tablets to turn on, without the tablet wasting power being ON all day long when no one is in the room/house.

Another cool thing is if you dont want to buy separate siren for your house, you can connect the tablet to bluetooth or wired speakers and have a louder notification sound in the house.

Can you post a link to Glimpse?
I see that there are multiple apps with name.

Geofencing really seems to depend on the handset or something is changed recently in the app.

I briefly used a motorola x force who constantly set me in and out of the area. My S7 now seems to do this correct. Both Android 6 btw.

Were depending on the Google Play Services for Geofences.

We only supply a radius of a Latitude/Longitude location.
Google Play Services on the phone does the heavy lifting.

Anyone who has speech working on a Galaxy tab 2? I try to setup speech. I get a microphone button, it show recording state but no end button anywhere. I have to stop recording with the back button of my tab. Then after recording.......nothing shows up, empty screen. Just bought the app, so latest version

Just getting started with this, nice app.

I have a Fibaro FGK 101 door/window sensor which does show up but the status doesn't get updated in the app (it works fine in the domoticz web interface though).

Am I supposed to have to refresh the dashboard or switches view to see its current status or should it change automatically ?

I also have the issue where Google Play doesn't let me install the app because my tablet is not compatible, unfortunately it doesn't tell me why :S

Could it be the Atom CPU, perhaps the app is only built for ARM?

Shouldn't be the CPU architecture.

Does your table have:
- Vibration
- GPS
- Camera

Built the app myself but trying to install it triggers the infamous apk parse error. Another unhelpful message.

I think the device doesn't have vibration. Tried Vibrate Tester but no vibration from my device.

Yes GPS and camera (front + back) are available. I noticed the Kindle Fire, mentioned in this thread, also doesn't have a vibrate function so you may be on to something. Can't imagine vibrate is essential for the app to work, so it's probably a case of changing a property so vibrate isn't treated as a mandatory feature?

TLDR: Temp is in C instead of F

I'm on the beta version of the app, but also have purchased the pro version or whatever the paid one is. When I first got the pro version, I noticed all the thermostat temps were in celsius (I believe, as the max was 30 degrees), but then after an update went to fahrenheit (which is what I use). I think it was still in F when I got the first beta but after two updates or so ago it was in C. Not sure if you're already aware of this.

No, vibration should not be mandatory.
I'll check it out, thanks.

I want to post een bug in de android app.
Within de domoticz application there are 2 ip camera's, they both can't get a livesteam!
It looks like it holds it first screenshot and always show it until i refresh the app itself.

A second bug is when i open one of the camera's.
The windows is cropped and the view can't be rotated.
1/3 of the image is cropped off on the phone.

Only when I go into the settings the switch is being updated. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
I have the same issue. Only when I open the Gefence settings the switch is turned on. After leaving the menu the switch is turned off after a couple of minutes. I set the radius at 500m.
When will this be repaired?

Geofencing really depends on your hardware it seems. On my s7 it seems to work ok. On a moto x force I used for some time the location kept switching. Both running on android 6. So not sure if this in the app. May be a timeout of some sort could be created....
