+1 Oh please do this!
I am sick and tired of manually addning new devices. How is your progress implementing this?

+1 from me to!
Have a tellstick duo unused in the closet
Would be great to use it as a slave send / receive downstairs.
Sent from space using an app.

A first version is in the Domoticz source code now. I would like to make it even easier to add devices, and I hope to have some time for that during the christmas holidays.dejven wrote:+1 Oh please do this!

Hello,
Any progress on this?
I would very much like to have the sensors working on the tellstick, that isn't possible right now?
Regards
Magnus

There is basic support in the main source. But since I am a contributor and not a main developer I am not sure if it is included in the latest release or not.
But if you build from the source it is working. Some pointers of how it works can be found here:

Will this only work with Tellsick Duo or will it work with a Tellstick Classic too? I have an old Tellstick Classic that would be nice to use in the Pi ..

Re: Is there interest for Tellstick (Duo) support?
+1 on support for Tellstick DUO support!
Last week I installed my tellstick duo on a raspberry with domoticz. Followed the link for domoticz page in earlier post.
I can use TDtool to turn on/off lamps. But I don´t understand how to set up domoticz? Or have I missunderstood, are dummy switches still necessary?
However. I got tired of fiddeling around so i ordered a RFXtrx433E. Got it today and have started setting everything up. To bad i have a bunch of UPM/ESIC temperature sensors which seems unsupported? I also have around 12 switches bought at Kjell&Co (manufacturer "Zhejlang Fuhaete something") which seems to be unsupported.
But with my tellstick they worked fine and were addressed with "HQ" as "protocol".
So.. when/if this Tellstick DUO support is avalible in Domotics, will I be able to use my Tellstick for this unsupported units for RFXtrx433e. Or can I expect to fail?
Should I get rid of them and by other brands?

+1 for Tellstick Duo support.
I would like to co-use Tellstick Duo and Razberry in Domoticz

Re: Is there interest for Tellstick (Duo) support?
I have used the precompiled domotics SD-card image, and then installed Tellstick software. I can use tdtool to turn on/off switches.
Is there a way to "update" domoticz so the basic support for tellstick is added? Or do I have to make a completely new installation, starting with the tellstick installation, then build domoticz from source?
I have "tellstick" in the dropdown menu when adding hardware. I have tried adding that but no switches is added from tellstick.conf as stated in the wiki-
I guess the problem is that I used the domoticz sd-image before I installed tellstick software. But if so, is there a way to build in support without doing a clean installation from the beginning?

Same situation as albinsson.
Have raspberry pi image and working tellstick using node-red but the devices from tellstick.conf is not showing up in domoticz.
Any way to fix it or do I have to setup everything manually using dummy switches linked to node-red ?

Re: Is there interest for Tellstick (Duo) support?
+1 for this!
I currently run HomeAutomation ( http://karpero.mine.nu/ha/ ) on Raspberry-Pi with tellstick duo.
Before that I tested SwitchKing for a Year, but I had so much trouble with the system hangs a couple of times.
But I will go for a double system with z-wave and 433 to get a safer system with z-wave but also keep my old sensors and switches.
In the end I will build up my home Alarm with z-wave and cameras and it seems as Domoticz has the power to build up this system.
Therefore I vote for implementation of Tellstick Duo support in domoticz, then I can reuse my Tellstick Duo!

Its already working (kind of).You need to add devices manually in a seperate config file. And i cant get nexa 433mhz wallswitches to work.FrankForsberg wrote:+1 for this!

Re: Is there interest for Tellstick (Duo) support?
Same issue as albinsson and nissse.
I can manage my test switch with tdtool. But i cant find any way for the switch to appear in Domoticz.
I got too many Proove 433mhz switches and also 2 Tellstick Duos. I cant just throw them away. Z-wave is expensive so i need to upgrade the system a few pieces at a time.

I have Domoticz running on RPi 2 and a Tellstick DUO. I am using Nexa and also other brands that use 433 MHz, works perfect.
1. I followed this page for installing Tellstick, https://blogg.itslav.nu/?p=875, it is in Swedish but you can run the Command and it shall work
2. Add Dummy hardware 3. Click on Create Virtual Sensor, choose "Switch" as Sensor Type and a name
4. Go to Switches Tab, Edit the newly created Dummy
5. Switch Type shall be On/Off 6. Edit /etc/tellstick.conf
7. Create a script named allrum-on.sh and save the script in Domoticz/Scripts
8. Create a script named allrum-off.sh and save the script in Domoticz/Scripts
9. Give full access for each script file
10. Add the script name to On Action, see 5. above
11. Save
12. Put the device in programming mode and within a few seconds click on the lamp Icon to turn on/off the device

Re: Is there interest for Tellstick (Duo) support?
Thanks for responding.
I got some problems with the script part.
Ive added a dummy called Tellstick Duo, ID 2.
Ive created a file called domoticz_main in domoticz/scripts folder with the following script: (is it supposed contain a file extension like .sh?)
(found here viewtopic.php?t=3378#p21998)
I have a working /etc/tellstick.conf with a device called 001.
Ive added a x10 switch called 001.
Not working. Have i missed a step?
